Cold Brew
The cool and the crisp
Prep It
- Food Scale (Recommended)
- Quality Burr Grinder (Recommended)
- 62.5 Grams of your favorite Kamiak Coffee (Ground if you dont have a grinder)
- Any drip or auto drip with a paper filter
- A vessel (4 cups worth) to steep
- 500 Grams of good tasting water (Roughly 2.25 Cups)
Brew It
- Grind your Kamiak Coffee to a very coarse grind size
- In the vessel, combine 62.5g of coffee with 500g of quality water (1:8 coffee:water ratio by weight
- Stir to make sure all grounds are submerged in the water
- Let the mixture steep for 12-24 hours at room temperature. Give it a stir about halfway through
- After steeping, prep your drip coffee maker with your filter
- Rinse the filter with hot water to remove papery taste
- Filter the cold brew mixture through the filter
- Store coffee in the fridge
- When ready to drink, use 1 part cold brew with 1 part cold good tasting water
